How is the programme taught?

Teaching is on Monday mornings from 9am – 1pm in London or the North West.  The programme is a mixture of lectures and seminars, with an emphasis on seminar teaching.

The core modules are taught in the autumn and spring terms, with the elective modules being taught in the summer term.  Full-time MA students are in college every Monday during term-time for each of the three terms. Part-time students are in college for the autumn and spring term of year 1, but then join the elective module of their choice in the summer term of year 1 (or in the case of some electives, the autumn term of year 2).
