Who is the programme for?

The MA in Theology, Ministry and Mission has been designed with various people in mind, including:

  • Christian Theology/Religious Studies graduates looking to advance in higher research
  • Theology graduate ordinands training for ministry.
  • Clergy looking to take their learning further in Continuing Ministerial Education (CME) programmes.
  • Experienced Christian theology graduates seeking deeper engagement with core Christian texts and themes

 

Applicants must have a prior degree in or Graduate Diploma in Theology (or closely related discipline e.g. Religious Studies/Divinity) at a 2:1 or higher level.

How is the programme taught?

The programme is taught at St Mellitus College, London. Teaching is on Monday daytimes from 9am – 1pm with occasional Monday afternoon input (2pm – 4pm) twice a term across two academic years.  The programme is a mixture of lectures and seminars, with an emphasis on seminar teaching.

This part-time programme is offered primarily on Monday mornings, from 9am – 1pm (with occasional Monday afternoon input twice a term across two academic years, from 2 – 4 pm), and there are a further two Saturdays held in High Leigh Conference Centre in Hertfordshire.

Is this programme available for international students?

We're sorry but we're currently unable to offer sponsorship for international students, therefore you would need to acquire a visa for the entirety of the course before applying.
