Jonny Rowlands is Undergraduate Formation Group Tutor at St Mellitus College, East Midlands, and is currently in the final stages of completing a PhD at the University of Nottingham. Jonny grew up in Liverpool and completed an undergraduate degree in Theology and Religious Studies in 2014 before completing an MPhil in New Testament Studies at Jesus College, Cambridge in 2015. Jonny is married to Joanna, follows Liverpool FC and has a keen interested in music and photography.
Jonny’s main current research is his PhD thesis (The Metaphysics of Historical Jesus Research), which seeks to evaluate the philosophical presuppositions that underpin modern academic historical Jesus research.
