  • Methods in Modern Theology: A survey of diverse approaches in modern theology; their contexts, methods and legacies.
  • Advanced Topic in Christian Doctrine: This module will explore the major areas of the doctrine of God.

  • Advanced Study of a Theological Text: As well as in-depth study of the text itself, the course will include examination of the historical context, legacy and application of a major theological text in theology, ministry and mission. Multiple texts are offered for study, relevant to both TMM foci in Biblical Studies and Systematic Theology.

  • Advanced Study of a Christian Figure: This module will focus on one major figure from the Christian tradition. Multiple figures are offered for study, relevant to both TMM foci in Biblical Studies and Systematic Theology.

  • Further Advanced Topic in Christian Doctrine: This module will further explore the major areas of the doctrine of God.

  • Research and Reflection: Resources and Methods: Advanced methods of critical theological reflection, Interdisciplinary practice and research methods.

  • The Bible and Christian Faith: This module aims to enable students to understand and critically engage with a variety of hermeneutical approaches to the Bible.

  • Advanced Biblical Studies: This module aims to enable students to explore in depth biblical texts from both New and Old Testaments.
