The Certificate of Higher Education in Theology, Ministry and Mission lays the building blocks of Christian theology by introducing subjects such as Theology, Church and Mission, Understanding the Bible and Discovering the Christian Tradition. It also starts to engage students in practical aspects of ministry and in some reflection on their own person and ministry.
Diploma Students working towards the Diploma of Higher Education in Theology, Ministry and Mission will complete either two years (full-time) or four years (part-time) of mid-week teaching, as well as attending four study weeks, in order to achieve 240 credits.
Students working towards the BA (Hons) in Theology, Ministry and Mission will complete either three years (full-time) or six years (part-time) of mid-week teaching, as well as attending six Teaching Weeks, in order to achieve 360 credits.
The BA (Hons) Theology and Youth Ministry combines Christian theology with the opportunity to learn from specialists in Christian youth work. This programme runs full-time over three years, with mid-week teaching and two teaching weeks each year to achieve 360 credits. Students also spend 20 hours a week in a youth ministry placement context.
Students working towards the Graduate Diploma in Theology, Ministry and Mission will complete one year of mid-week teaching on Mondays, as well as attending two Teaching Weeks, in order to achieve 120 credits.
